Different bodies, different needs, different challenges

Yes we are all human, but we also know that men and women have different requirements and we benefit from focussing on areas that can help us make the most of who we are.
Some of the assumptions we make are based on out of date information and do us no favours: For example, many women think protein is not as important in their diet as it is for men. This means they eat far less protein than their bodies would like, leading to lower muscle mass, less energy, lower metabolic rate and wearing a larger dress size!!
Children's health is of growing concern in the UK. It is reported that 20% of children in England are overweight or obese. This particularly worrying when you consider that this puts them at greater risk of developing diseases we used to think of as "diseases of old age" such as Type 2 diabetes. It has been suggested that the new generation of children is the first for a long time to have a lower life expectancy than their parents.
This section contains information on how to help women even out some of the lumps and bumps of life with our hormones, how to help men perform at their best and general information on the greatest threat to our children's health.
